Description:
The Witch is still one of the slowes mercenaries, though it is the most powerful one. Meteor Strike can easily deal 2000 to all enemies. The damage is even higher if you get charms and high level weapons that promote skill levels. The problem is it takes 4 turns to prepare. Mana Drain is a useful strategy for skill denial builds. A high level Mana Drain can change the MP of 3 units into 0 in about 3 shots. The Witch is also the only flying mercenary making it only stunnable from range units.

Description:
A Viking is very useful in most situations. It's most useful ability is the ability to freeze targets for 3 turns. Some enemies and all bosses later on are immune to freeze, but the freeze still lowers defense and makes the opponent waste a turn at least. The downside is that they have very low magic defense and 3 swordsman can basically take out a Viking in 1 turn. At level 100, a Viking can be upgraded to a Northern Viking which changes it into a Grade C mercenary and gives it the new Ice Ridge skill, an improved version of the Freezing Axe skill.
