26/7/2006 - day 22 an ASG...

I feeling a bit better after the oparation of monday..
My leg hurts like hel because they ript of skin from my upperleg..
They call that skin transplantation..
I can tell you it hurts an you get nice scars of it..

They took the stiches out of my leg an foot an all the wounds are closed..
They set a date that i need to report myself in the rehabilitation centre..

THAT MEANS WHEN EVERYTHING GOES WEL AN AS PLAND I WILL BE OUT OF THE HOSPITAL BEFORE

11 AUGUST..

I want to thank the ASG team for there sniper first aid kit they sended me..

24/7/2006 - Out olf surgery nr 5

Just got out of surgery..
They transplant the skin of my upperleg and placed it on the top and buttom of my foot..
They also removed the stitches out of my leg and toe..
When i get the change i will make some new pictures but on this moment i am a little bit high on morphine.. LOL
So i will write tomorrow more about what they all did, now i am going to enjoy the rush..

22/7/2006 - Day 17 & 18

Yesterday (friday) an today are the same..my foot hurts like hell because all the nerves are back an my foot is not swollen anymore..
Because its not swollen anymore all the broken bones an little pieces of it you can feel true the skin..

An my foot moves uncontrolled because my muscles cant holt it all together on there own..
I feel this also when i lay down my foot..

The most weird thing was yesterday that my toe hurted alot so i wanted to give the toe a massage an when i opend up the bandage the toe wassent there..
I can tell you that is weird..having pain in things you dont have anymore..
They call that fantoom pain (ghost pain)..

Im looking forward to monday to the next oparation..

21/7/2006 - Day 16

Due to internet problems the hospitalserver  nobody had internet..

So here is the update from yesterday..

Not much changed..I only got the good news that they gonna do the skin transplantation on monday..
An they sorted out the bone issue,they decided that afther the skin transplantation
is healed they gonna look what is possible with it..

I made some new photo`s when they opend up the bandages..it looks much better..

20/7/2006 - Sorry no update..

Hello Everybody..

Here the Misses writing (also beter known as Annet..LOL)

I am not going to make a long log out of this one..

And i also not going to tell you what kind of thing happend today..

I leave that up to Marco..

The only problem is that Marco doesnt have internet at this moment..

So he cant do any updates..

Hopefully he will have internet tomorrow so he can show you all new pictures and write a new story..

(oeps did i just tell you he got new pictures??)

Well look tomorrow again and hopefully he has his internetacces back..

For now, Sweet Dreams and keep on writing in the guestbook..

19/7/2006 - Day 15

Day 15 brings not much shocking things but some good news..

The planning for the coming weeks is publisht by the headnurs an tommorow the doctors

an profs have a meeting about what they are gonna do..

What i can say for the moment is that when they chainced the bandage this morning it

was coverd in blood an thats the first blood i see in 2 weeks..

YESSSSSSS..

This means that the wounds are ready for skintransplatation an they gonna plan that

early next week to do..

For what the docter said yesterday is now a big fight here in the unit because

everybody knows what the prof have said an they stick to that..

More an more nerves are coming back in action an the swelling of the foot is fewer

than yesterday..
The old skin is falling off an on the most places there is a nice pink skin under..

Yesterday we had a 657 hits on the pages whitin 8 hours an 34 posts in the

guestbook..
