Is it Wise to Buy Stereo Wireless Headphone?

{ 09:43, 1/4/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

You can’t imagine, 34 years ago, while stereo headphones were around before the first Sony Walkman, they looked so clumsy.  In those bygone days, headphones were stay-at-home things, relegated to late-night, LP music listening. That was then; the latest generation of slimmed-down headphones injects high-resolution music or home-theater sound directly into your ears. They're convenient for any situation where you don't want to deal with dangling cables—especially at the gym, but just in general as well.

And wireless no longer means poor sound, either. These days, Bluetooth wireless stereo audio sounds much better than it ever did before. Even though the stereo Bluetooth data signal is compressed, various headphone and earphone vendors have discovered ways of enhancing the signal to compensate for deficiencies in fidelity. Having said that, audiophiles will still hear a difference and should probably stick with wired headphones. But for casual listening, many of the most recent wireless models we've tested sound just fine—even great.

All recent smartphones and tablets support stereo Bluetooth, so do many other kinds of music players. Even the latest iPod nano has stereo Bluetooth, which is a first for the nano line, in addition to the latest iPod touch. Wireless headphone means No messy wires to trip you up; falling prices make Bluetooth headphones a reasonable auxiliary device for workouts and portable use. Another benefit: Most of these wireless headphones double as hands-free headsets for making and receiving calls with your cell phone.

However, stereo wireless headphone also has its downside. The music stops when your battery dies; compressed audio files will leave your music sounding less dynamic; less real estate on the headphones means smaller buttons to control track navigation and volume; hardware limitations relegate its use to devices with Bluetooth connectivity. If you tend to buy one, then its battery capacity must be take consideration.

How to improve your iPhone 5S touch ID fingerprint reader

{ 09:27, 26/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

If you've been less than impressed with Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor that comes on Apple's new iPhone 5S, we may be able to help.

Although the fingerprint scanner works well for many people, and has garnered positive reviews from some of the most prominent tech critics, others have found that it doesn't work well for them.

What to do? Apple recommends rescanning your finger (and, of course, making sure it's clean and dry) or trying other fingers if you are having problems. The company also notes that things like lotion, oils and dry skin, or activities like swimming or exercising "may affect fingerprint recognition."

Here we tell some tips to improve your touch ID fingerprint performance.

Scan in multiple fingerprint angles: Touch ID stores up to five prints, and given that my 5s is mine and mine alone, I’ve used those print stores to actually capture multiple versions of my thumbprints—each has been scanned once when angled at 60 degrees, and once while pointing straight up. It ensures that even if your grip is a little different, Touch ID should still recognize your thumb.

Use a different finger: If you have a mark or cut on your thumb that makes fingerprint analysis and reading difficult, you may have to retire that finger from Touch ID use and instead try one of your other digits.

Make sure your finger touches the metal ring: The steel ring around your Touch ID sensor isn’t just there for looks—it helps the scanner recognize your print. As such, if you don’t make contact with it when you try to open your phone, you may have some trouble.

What you should do with HDMI 1.4 cable, when HDMI 2.0 comes?

{ 10:19, 21/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Thanks to 4K Ultra HD, the introduction of HDMI 2.0 is tied tightly to the advancement od Ultra HD, or 4K, television. Last year at IFA, Panasonic and Sony launched their latest 4K/Ultra HD television, and they gave HDMI 2.0 a lot of lip service. As a result, even consumers who don’t own those next-gen televisions are starting to ask questions: Will I have to buy new HDMI cables? Is the connector different? How long until my HDMI equipment is obsolete?

HDMI 2.0 is the successor to the HDMI 1.4a/b standard most of us use today, which works well, so why change it? The main difference between HDMI 1.4 (which is what most equipment is now) and 2.0 is an increase in the possible framerates of the 4K signal. HDMI 1.4 can do Ultra HD at 30 frames per second. HDMI 2.0 can do 60 fps. There are no new cables with HDMI 2.0, this is a hardware change, not a cable change. So your current High Speed HDMI cables should work just fine.

Besides, HDMI 2.0 changes nothing about the size, shape or wiring of HDMI cables. Should you wind up getting devices that are HDMI 2.0 compliant, your existing cables will work just fine. And since HDMI 2.0 is backward compatible with older HDMI versions, you’ll be able to connect your old Blu-ray player and/or A/V receiver to a newer HDMI 2.0-equipped 4K Ultra HD with absolutely no problem.

If anyone offers you so-called ‘HDMI 2.0 cables’, turn and run. It will be either a marketing tactic, or expression of ignorance. Either way it is non-compliant. When the HDMI 2.0 specification was first announced, it was accompanied by this statement “ …Current High Speed cable(category 2 cables) are capable of carrying the increased bandwidth”(HDMI Licensing, LLC)

HDMI Cable Using Guide

{ 07:56, 19/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Nowadays, most of HD devices have applied the HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) ports. To make a full use of your devices, you wonder what this port used for. Actually, nothing compares to HDMI cables when connecting devices that are intended for high definition viewing, such as cable boxes, gaming consoles, computers, and DVD and Blu-ray players.

Guide to using an HDMI cable in a Home Theater

You can begin your HDMI experience by selecting the right cable that meets your requirements. While it is possible to purchase a flat HDMI cable from a renowned electronics manufacturer such as Sony, Hitachi or Philips, you can advance your search by figuring out the exact type of cable that you need.

Standard HDMI cables can work with the majority of appliances in a home theater since the standard cable transmits 1080i or 720p video. These resolutions are typical for many electronics, such as DVD players, cable and satellite boxes.

HDMI cables can also come with Ethernet that works the same as a standard HDMI cable but is also able to network devices through a designated information channel.  High-speed HDMI cables are required in order to experience 1080p resolutions, or higher. Blu-ray players require these types of cables in order to deliver optimal sound and picture quality.

Once you have selected the appropriate cable, it is time to find the ports for connection on the equipment and connector on the cable that you wish to join. Then connect the equipment by using the designated ports.

It is common for devices to come with an HDMI port, so make sure you connect the cable in the right port. The equipment port is female and the HDMI cable plug is male.

Check the HDMI cables to make sure that they are tightly in the port. The connectors must be secured properly into the ports in order to function. Those that need a line of over 25 feet, and expect 1080p resolution, should invest in a booster box.

Guide to use an HDMI cable with Other Devices

Connecting a TV to a laptop or PC is easy when using an HDMI cable. Simply connect the cable into the computer’s “Output” port if the device is compatible with HDMI. Devices that do not have a specific HDMI Output port will require an adapter and a video card upgrade.

Gaming consoles are easily connected to a TV by putting one end of the HDMI cable into the gaming console’s Output port and the other cable end into the Input port of the TV.

HDMI cables also can be used in Car

Automotive HDMI cables are used for more extreme systems of HD viewing, such as in vehicles and onboard. These cables are able to withstand vibration and temperature differences.

Android TV Box C rising star in the TV market

{ 05:02, 11/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

It is expected that 60 percent of the Internet-based services’ income would be from IPTV on OTT by 2016, when the Android TV Box market would see a boom.

SmartTV Box products have been available on the market since early 2013. The products, run on the Android operation system, connecting with TV via the Internet transmission (fiber or ADSL), allowed TV watchers to enjoy a lot of multi-media services.

The “small box”, priced at VND1.6-3 million only, is “powerful” enough to turn a normal TV into a smart TV. Therefore, experts believe that the products would replace smart TVs and dominate the TV market in the upcoming years.

There are many reasons that prompt people to use Android TV Box instead of smart TV.

The biggest advantage of Android TV Box is the low price, which is 10 times cheaper than a smart TV. An Android TV Box can be bought at VND1.6-3 million, while a smart TV is priced at no less than VND10 million.

While having the small size, Android TV Box is designed with the configuration powerful enough to allow users surf on Internet, play games, read newspapers and access to social networks without personal computers.

Android TV Box allows users watch HD films and use the film stores with copyrighted films, including the 3D blockbuster films updated regularly by the content service providers.

Android TV Box users can save a lot of money as they can watch tens of TV channels free of charge, or with low fees (VND50,000 a month) and enjoy a lot of other facilities.

Quan of VTC Multimedia quoted the survey of Informa, a market survey firm, as saying that 60 percent of income would be from IPTV services on OTT by 2016. Traditional pay-TV would become cheaper and cheaper, while service providers would focus on collecting fees from added value services.

How to Share Business Presentations from Your iPhone or iPad (2)

{ 03:15, 10/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

3. TV or monitor

When a large monitor or TV display is available, you may not have to mess with projectors, secondary computers or special app configurations. With the right cables, you can connect your iPhone or iPad directly to the secondary display to mirror your screen and get right to business. Apple sells Lightning-to-HDMI adapters that will do the trick. This cable plugs directly into your phone or tablet's Lightning charging port on one end, and features a full-size HDMI port on the other end. From there, a regular HDMI cable can be used as a bridge between your iOS device and a larger digital display.

4. DisplayOut

Unlike newer iPhones and iPads, whose Lightning ports allow for easy screen mirroring with the right adapter, older models are equipped with Apple's 30-pin port. Apple does sell 30-pin-to-HDMI adapters, but they support video playback only, so you can't share Keynote slideshows and content from other apps. But there is still a way to mirror the screen of your older iPhone or iPad on a TV, without shelling out for upgrades: Just connect your device to the TV using a 30-pin-to-HDMI adapter, and then download and run the DisplayOut app.

There's a catch: DisplayOut is not available in the App Store. To run the app, you'll need to jailbreak your iPhone. Jailbreaking allows you to tweak certain settings on your iPhone, and install unauthorized apps. It's great for power users, but can potentially open up your phone to malware and security risks if you're not careful. Still, DisplayOut is a decent solution for adventurous and tech-savvy iPhone users who haven't upgraded in a while. To learn how to jailbreak your iPhone and download jailbroken apps, check out a full guide on our sister site Laptop Mag.

5. Pocket projector

If you're tired of fussing with apps, cables and accessories, there may be an easier, if more expensive, solution: a miniature projector designed specifically for your phone, such as the iKeek Pico Projector, which is compatible with the iPhone 5 and 5s. (Other projectors are available for older iPhone models.) These pocket-size projectors are simple: Just plug in your phone and turn it on to beam content directly onto a nearby wall. Some models can even wirelessly acquire images and video files from your phone, so you can navigate through your presentation without being chained to the projector.

How to Share Business Presentations from Your iPhone or iPad (1)

{ 03:37, 7/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

It's easy to share a business presentation from your laptop: Just plug your machine into a projector or a large external monitor. But why lug around a heavy laptop when you can present directly from your iPhone or iPad? With the right apps and equipment, it's easy to share a presentation stored on your phone or tablet with a small or medium-size group.

There are a few different ways to do it. You could use one of several Lightning adapter cables to attach a newer iPhone or iPad to a projector, or even directly to a large monitor or TV display. Another option is to use iOS' built-in support for Apple AirPlay, a feature that lets you stream content wirelessly from your iPhone or iPad directly to a TV — but to make it work, you'll need to purchase an Apple TV device. And for the adventurous, there is a way to mirror the screen of an older iPhone onto a TV using a 30-pin-to-HDMI adapter, but only if you're willing to jailbreak your phone. Not every solution is right for every user, so read on for five ways to share business presentations from your iPhone.

1. AirPlay

If you're looking for a hands-off solution for wireless streaming of video presentations, slideshows and other content you’re your iPhone or iPad to a TV, AirPlay is it. But you'll need to meet a few requirements to use the feature. First, you'll need a device running iOS version 5 or higher. That includes the iPhone 3GS and all later iterations, or any iPad. You'll also need an Apple TV set-top box, which is sold separately for $99. Apple TV is a device used primarily to view movies and TV shows, but it's also handy for business presentations because it lets you mirror your iPhone's screen onto a TV.

To use the feature, set up your Apple TV and navigate to the Settings menu, and then activate AirPlay. Assuming the Apple TV and your iPhone or iPad are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, your iOS device should automatically identify the Apple TV. Finally, activate AirPlay on your iPhone or iPad to start presenting.

2. Projector

Older projectors usually connect to computers via a VGA port, while newer projectors mostly connect via an HDMI port. However, the iPhone has neither of those. But if you have a newer iPhone (5 or 5s) or a newer iPad (4th generation or iPad Air), there are still ways to link your iOS device directly to a projector and beam your business presentation onto a wall. To do so, you'll need to purchase an adapter — either a Lightning-to-HDMI or Lightning-to-VGA, depending on the type of projector. Using a projector has definite advantages over connecting your smartphone to a digital display, the most important of which is that it allows you to display your business presentation at any size, and on just about any wall or flat surface, giving you the versatility to address larger groups.

What a Lightning to 30-pin Adapter Used for?

{ 10:38, 5/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Since September 2012, Apple’s Lightning connector has been the smaller replacement for the 30-Pin Dock Connector introduced in 2003 -- a reliable plug that has been used in thousands of Apple-specific accessories, including everything from chargers to speakers, video projectors, and blood pressure monitors. Unfortunately, that means any accessories or cables you have that use the 30-pin connector won't fit.

However, the lightning to 30-pin adapter lets you adapt your older gear. According to Apple's site, the adapter will support analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output is not supported, however, and not all 30-pin devices will be supported, either, so you may still need buy new accessories to use with the iPhone 5 and 2012 iPods.

You may disappointed that the lightning to 30-pin adapter only wors for audio, and not video. We tried the adaptor with a 30-pin to HDMI Adaptor and got the “This accessory is not designed for this iPhone” message. Sometimes this is displayed while the video plays, but in this case there is no video (it just continues to play on the iPhone screen as normal). We also tested it with a monitor with a 30-pin dock built-in, so it’s not a compatibilty issue the the HDMI adaptor – there’s simply no way to  get video from it.

Thus, you should keep in mind that lightning to 30-pin adapter will not send video from 30-pin connector to a lightning connector. You also should note that with some very old accessories made for the iPod, charging is not supported because that device used Firewire charging and this adapter only support USB charging. Besides, if you have an accessory that supports the special iPod-out mode in which the iPhone generated a menu that was displayed on a device such as a car, that also doesn’t work with this adapter.

How to connect your wired Xbox 360 controller to a PC

{ 09:56, 3/3/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Step 1: Installing software

First off, find and insert the installation CD that came with your wired Xbox 360 controller into your PC’s optical drive. Follow the on-screen installation wizard that appears, or run the setup program manually. Regardless of how you bring up the installer, click Install and the software will automatically install the required files to your PC. In some cases, you may be required to restart your computer upon completion of the install; if so, go ahead and restart your PC.

Now, for those without the installation CD, you can easily download the software online. You’ll want to visit the Microsoft Hardware website, and go to the Software Downloads section. Once there, click on the Gaming header, followed by Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. When prompted, select the version of Microsoft Windows you are using, your operating system language, and clickDownload. Click Run when the download screen appears, and the Xbox 360 Accessories Setup will begin installing the required files. Just like with the installation CD, you may be required to restart your computer once the install is complete.

Step 2: Plugging in

Once the software is installed, plug in your wired Xbox 360 controller to one of the USB ports on your PC.

Step 3: Testing the controller

Once the necessary software is installed and the controlled plugged in, it’s time to test the connection. Open the Start menu on your PC, open the Run utility, and type “joy.cpl” in the entry field before clicking OK. Next, select Xbox 360 Controller and click Properties. Now press the controller’s buttons, pull the triggers, and move the joysticks to ensure the controller is functioning properly. If it is, you’ll see the correlating action highlighted in the application. If the application does not recognize the controller, you can troubleshoot via Xbox’s support website, or double check the required software was installed successfully.

How to Connect a Mobile Device to Your TV

{ 09:32, 28/2/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

If you are tired of watching TV on small screen of the mobile devices, there are two solutions to sending video from your small screen to your big screen. One way is by wireless devices, such as Apple TV, Google Chromecast. However, it obviously will cost a lot. Plus, if your wireless network doesn’t offer a strong signal, the wireless streaming will never be the best option. The other way to streaming video from your phone to TV is by an HDMI cable, and in some cases, an adapter.

How to connect an Android smartphone or tablet to TV?

Most Android mobile devices support streaming videos to an HDTV through Mobile High Definition Link, or MHL. In this case, if your HDTV happened to have MHL built in, all you need is a micro USB-to-HDMI cable.

The MHL Consortium publishes a partial list of MHL-supported devices on its website. If you don't see your mobile device listed, check with the manufacturer. Older TV HDMI ports don't include MHL, so you'll need an MHL-to-HDMI adapter to supply the power, such as Koopower’s $8.98 microUSB-to-HDMI MHL adapter. You may need to plug your device's charger into the adapter to provide extra power.

How to connect an Apple mobile device to TV?

Apple sells its Lightning Digital AV Adapter that can help you do that. Actually, it just likes any other HDMI adapter: on one end, there is a lightning plug and on the other end is an HDMI port. Then you only need an HDMI cable to go from the adapter to your TV’s HDMI port and the TV doesn’t even need to support MHL. However, Apple doesn’t sell an adapter for its older devices like iPhone 4/4S. As The $49 Lightning adapters work with all iPhones, iPads and iPod touches with the Lightning port. If you want to stream the video in your iPhone 4/4S to TV, Koopower’s $16.99 30-pin digital AV adapter will meet your demand.

Chromecast Works like Android Mini PC

{ 09:55, 11/2/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Chromecast is a product to be expected in this summer. Its advantages are obviously: cheap – only $25 and simple use. It turns any HDMI TV into a giant streaming display. Chromecast is controlled by a phone or tablet, and you can play the local videos and music wirelessly on the big screen via it. Chromecast also provides streaming online videos on your TVs. When you play the videos on your phone, tablet or PC, it is synchronously play on the TV. And that’s it, that’s all a Chromecast can do!

Chromecast’s functions are limited. In fact, an Android Mini PC can do what Chromecast has done and provides other services for users. Chromecast can’t work without the phone, tablet or PC, while the Android Mini PC can. Since an Android mini PC is a standalone computer, you can attach a wireless mouse, keyboard or dedicated remote directly. You can even use Google's voice commands, provided that you have a microphone.  If you really want to use your phone to control your Android stick, you can use an app such as RKremotecontrol, a free utility from Rock Chip, the company that makes the CPUs for most devices in this category.

Meanwhile, an Android Mini PC can be a Game Console. By connecting the TV, mouse and keyboard with Android Mini PC together, you can play the shooting games from Android market. Besides, by attaching a webcam with Android Mini PC, you can do the video chat with your family, colleagues and friends at home.

In short, the Android Mini PC can do all the Chromecast can do and its price is only more than $10 higher than Chromecast. Therefore, an Android Mini PC actually beat Chromecast.

Qi Wireless Charging, Challenging Your Traditional Charging Way

{ 08:13, 7/2/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

Technology advanced, people now can charge your Phone without any cable. The convenient charging way owns to the Qi wireless charging technology. Qi is a wireless standard developed in 2009 by the Wireless Power Consortium. The standard itself covers inductive power transfer over short distances -- up to four centimeters -- and uses an electromagnet embedded in a transmission pad to induce current in a coil on the back of the thing you're charging.

To encounter this new technology, currently, a number of phones from Nokia, Google’s Nexus range, and Samsung’s phones via an optional wireless charging cover use wireless charging based on the Qi standard. There are also a lot of Qi wireless charger pad occurred in the power bank market. Actually, at the core of Qi technology, wireless charging requires two components. First, the technology must either be built into the smartphone or tablet, or these smart devices must support the wireless charging feature via a third-party case or accessory. With wireless charging on the device, second, a wireless charging plate must be plugged into the wall. When a user sets their phones on these charging plates, wireless charging is achieved by not requiring a cable to be plugged directly into the device.

This technology may sound like an unnecessary feature for many people. However, if you get a Qi wireless charger pad for your iPhone or Samsung, you could just set the Phone down on the wireless charging pad, no need to try to fumble with the micro USB charging cable.

Wearable Gadgets for fitness in CES 2014

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is turning out to be a blockbuster—and with good reason. Last year's attendance topped a record 150,000, and every indication is that this year will match or exceed that number. And you would think that with Mobile World Congress looming in February that we'd see little action in the mobile space, but that's not the case.

CES is not only a good indicator of what's hot, but it's also indicative of what's dead. So what’s the new trend in CES 2014? Manufacturers aren't giving up on smartwatches yet; it was pretty clear 2013 was a trial run, and better designs are definitely in store for 2014. And while hybrid tablet and laptop designs are all the rage this year, conventional laptops and desktops are few and far between.

There are a lot of wearable gadgets for fitness this year. Now here we will introduce two kinds for you.

The LG Lifeband Touch and heart rate monitor earphones aim to help you keep fit. It is a fitness band with a swipe-friendly OLED touchscreen that displays physical activity info and calories burned. Naturally, it pairs up with Android and iOS devices to get incoming calls and text information, but if you want to make the most out of it, you'll need to pair it with the company's second CES wearable: a pair of Heart Rate Monitor earphones. Aside from functioning as normal earbuds, they can track heartbeats by measuring signals from the inner ear.

Razer’s Nabu, a smart band is half fitness tracker and half smart watch. According to its CEO Min-Liang Tan, "It's not a smartwatch," he said. "It's not a fitness band. It's what we're calling a 'smart band.'" The device is actually an odd combination of both, featuring the bio data-tracking features of fitness products, while also dispensing notifications via two small OLED displays -- a small 32-pixel square that displays notification icons, and a larger 128 x 32 panel that ticks off texts, emails and other personal data. By positioning the screens on opposite sides of the user's wrist, Razer hopes the second screen will act as sort of a privacy screen, keeping folks from reading your texts by glancing at your wrist. The band can also track a user's location, altitude, steps walked, sleep data and everything else one needs to quantify their body. All of this, Min adds, works right out of the box, for both iOS and Android.

An iPhone battery case also boosts storage

You may have a battery case for you iPhone. To be honest, a battery case is not a new thing, but when it adds some new function, it’s creative. In 2014 consumer electronics show, Mophie’s Space Pack, it’s an iPhone case that marries both a backup battery and additional storage.

The concept strikes us as an attractive one, especially to iPhone owners who are stuck with both a sealed-in battery and without the benefit of external memory. As it comes in both 16GB and 32GB versions, the Space Pack could also potentially double or triple your existing capacity. During a brief hands-on with the case, we can say that it looks very similar to the current Juice Pack Air-- indeed, it's almost indiscernible as far as look and feel goes. The only difference seems to be a silver brushed button on the back instead of a simple plastic one.

If you're expecting the Space Pack to merge seamlessly with your existing iPhone storage to be one giant hard drive, you're sadly mistaken. The Space Pack really acts more like an external USB stick to which you can offload files. This is why Mophie requires you to use a special iOS app called Space, not only to manage that additional storage, but to access it at all. Unfortunately, this means that iPhone apps like the Camera Roll and iTunes are not integrated with that extra capacity -- after you transfer over those files, they're only accessible through the Space app. As such, Mophie has recommended that most first-time users simply dump their entire Camera Roll or iTunes library into the Space Pack so that they can empty out their iPhone's capacity and start "fresh."

Why you should have an iPhone 5S Case with a Built in Outlet?

{ 08:08, 8/1/2014 } { 0 comments } { Link }

The Prong PocketPlug is an iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s case with a built-in charger that allows you to charge anywhere there is an outlet, even if you don’t have a cable with you.

This iPhone case launched first on KickStarter, but is now available at retail outlets and online direct from Prong, so there is no waiting for this nice case option to arrive on the market.

While there are many iPhone battery cases and a lot of users will put the Lightning cable in their pocket, purse or backpack the Prong PocketPlug is a handy way to stay charged while on the go.

When in your pocket the prongs fold flat to fit the hand friendly design of the case though they are still visible which is an interesting look that users will love or hate.

If you need to charge up, flip the prongs out and plug into any outlet for a fast top off. The Prong PocketPlug sports Worldwide compatibility of 100-240V and 50-60Hz so travelers are good to go without a cord in hand.

Even with the ability to plug the iPhone right into an outlet, this may not be the best way to charge the iPhone at night in a hotel, so there is also a Micro USB port that allows users to charge up the iPhone in the PocketPlug case with a cord. This is a better fit for charging at night if you plan to also use the iPhone while it is charging.

The case itself is made of polycarbonate and looks like it will hold up well to wear and tear of daily use. The bottom of the case is designed very similar to the iPhone 5s battery cases, which cover the speaker and microphone to make room for the built-in lightning connection. This design focuses the sound forward towards the user which generally delivers a better experience.

The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 version is $69.95 and an iPhone 4 and 4s version is $59.95 and a Samsung Galaxy S3 version is in the works.
