s," says Marty Krofft during an interview at his office on the CBS Studio Center lot. "We created all likable characters. That's the one thing about television. You'd better have likable characters."

When he says likable, Krofft means it. Even the villains - from Benita Bizarre played by Martha Raye to Hoodoo played by Charles Nelson Reilly - were likable, more mischievous troublemakers than evil.

The Kroffts built their Saturday morning kingdom on incredibly tight budgets. NBC gave them $54,000 to produce each episode of "Pufnstuf," half of what it actually cost to make an episode. The Kroffts had to pay the rest out of their own pockets.

"Sigmund" movies are in pre-production.

"Sid & Marty Krofft's Saturday Morning Hits" will be released Nov. 30 on DVD. The set includes episodes of several of their TV shows.

Nothing was too strange. Hats were alive; human-like bugs sang with English accents; a boy had a sea monster as a best friend; dune buggies could fly.

The Kroffts work is now reaching  http://dvds-estore.com  a new generation. New TV and film projects featuring their wacky characters are in the works and DVD sets of the original shows are being released later this month.

Also, the Kroffts will be at a special American Cinematheque screening of the original "H.R. Pufnstuf" movie Nov. 20 at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, Calif.

You can bet they will get the one question that's dogged them since their first TV show: Were they taking drugs when they came up with these bizarre worlds?

Marty Krofft laughs and says, "If we had done all the drugs

"We couldn't afford to do special effects and could only afford so many of the smaller ones," Krofft says. "When it came to special effects, we pulled a string. That was our special effect. We still did pretty good."

They did well enough to create enduring interest in their work. They still hear from millions of fans who remain dedicated to the shows.

Krofft jokes that if he had known cheap P90x  their TV shows would remain so popular, they would not have thrown so much stuff away.

The brothers did keep major items. Just outside the door of their office stands the last remaining Sleestak costume from the 1974 "Land of the Lost." The lizard men were the main nemesis of the Marshall family after they get swept away to the strange world.

• 11/11/2010 - would prefer not having to go to Carlisle

The company, owned by Berlin-based Deutsche Bahn, hopes to run four new services – from London Euston to Carlisle, Blackpool North, Bradford and Leeds.

Ian Stephens, chief executive of Cumbria Tourism, said any improvements to encourage rail travel should be welcomed.

“These plans are certainly a few years down the line but we would welcome any developments to improve rail connectivity into Cumbria,” he said.

Alliance is holding talks with train manufacturers to build 16 trains, capable of travelling at the 125mph British speed limit and carrying up to 350 passengers.

Alliance head of systems Chris Brandon said: “There is nothing like this currently operating in the UK.

“We want to concentrate very much on a fair deal for the passenger.”

Lancaster University’s Professor Roger Kemp, an expert on railways, predicted the project would face a number of obstacles.
welcomed by tourism bosses and Workington MP Tony Cunningham, who said it was “excellent news” for west Cumbria.

Passengers from the west of the county currently have to get the train to Carlisle to be connected with services heading to London via the West Coast Main Line.

The proposed service, which would start in 2013 if given approval, would run three times a day and use dual-fuel trains, the first of their kind to be built.

They would be diesel powered on the Furness Line section then tap into the electric WCML at Lancaster.

“It is extremely expensive to build a brand new kind of train, especially once they have gone through UK rail regulations and checks,” he said.

“It could cost up to £50 million to develop.”

Alliance, which was formed in 2009, must apply to the Office of Rail Regulation for“The vast majority of our visitors arrive and tend to travel around by car, therefore any improvements to public transport services to encourage more sustainable travel should be supported.”

Mr Cunningham said he would “very much welcome it”.

“I think people would prefer  cheap P90x not having to go to Carlisle [to go to London],” he said.

“It’s important that we  develop transport links in west Cumbria and not just rail. One of the most important is the redevelopment of Workington port.

“When we talk about links between west Cumbria and the rest of the country, and the world, we tend to look east – at improvements with the A66 for example. But there are great opportunities with the sea.”

"We came just for the engagement," said Mathew Richards, 36, of London, who traveled with his fiance this weekend to buy a ring at Tiffany & Co.

For the budget-conscious, designers are mixing gold with other metals or pushing gold-toned silver. Other jewelers are dressing rings in chunky diamonds and gemstones, which offer more bling for less buck.

But many mom-and-pop jewelry stores have found that selling their surplus back to wholesalers is better than hanging on to it.

Gold-jewelry prices have skyrocketed 30 percent from last year, prompting some young couples to scrap the metal.

"Gold prices are really expensive right now," said Jeff Lerner, 30, who saved several hundred bucks by opting for a platinum engagement ring for his fiance.

In the last year, investors fearful about the shaky economy have sunk their money into gold, causing an ounce to rise from $1,050 to nearly $1,400. The price won't come down soon, with Goldman Sachs predicting that gold will reach $1,650 an ounce in a year.

It's made jewelers reminisce about the 1980s, when global turmoil prompted moguls to pour money into gold. The metal hasn't hit those levels when factoring in for inflation, but the economy is much worse these days.

"If you purchased it last year, you've done very well," said Yanni Kyriazis, one of the designers.

Andersen believes the appeal in Pandora lies in the “handmade, all genuine materials, no plated” products and its wide selection of charms.

“Once you start wearing your bracelet, you then carry your identity on your wrist. And when you meet other wearers, you can talk about what it means to them,” he exclaimed. “Start with a few charms and build your collection. Every bead will mean something to the woman wearing it.”

Pandora can be found in Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong and China. The brand is fairly new to Asia and Andersen is happy to add Malaysia to the list.

He describe the partnership with established jeweller Habib Jewels as “a stamp of approval” from them.

“They have the right setup that can P90X  help launch the product and on top of that, they have the industry know-how so they offer a really strong partnership,” he added.

The regional launch in Hong Kong was witnessed by over 40 journalists from Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan and South Korea. Fashionista Hilary Tsui and model Lisa S. were on hand to preview the beautifully designed pieces. Both were seen wearing Pandora’s signature bracelets with charms handpicked by them.

The charms for the season come in an elegant and romantic look.

A combination of gold, silver and burnt colour tones blend in beautifully with the exquisite gold charms, while meticulously decorated cabochon-cut rhodolite and onyx give a lively addition of colours to the existing range.

A silver friendship charm with a butterfly pendant is the new addition to the family. Engraved with the words “friends forever”, this piece can be divided into two individual charms.

There is also a series of silver charms with the numbers zero to nine, set in garnet to mark birthdays or represent lucky numbers. Also new are four oversize Murano glass charms with flower motifs, and rustic oxidised silver charms with faceted zirconia in amber, red and black.

Pandora launched a gold lock for its popular fabric charm bracelet, and introduced gold and silver ends to the leather strings.

• 5/11/2010 - members were arrested in late 2009 for planting a bomb outside the home of a prominent member of the ruling Greek Socialist Party.

government announced its plan to sell off the rail link in June as part of a programme of asset sales to raise much-needed public funds.

Hammond said the price "exceeds the highest expectations for the sale and will make a welcome contribution to reducing the deficit". Previous estimates had put the cost of the concession at about 1.5 billion pounds.

Prime Minister David Cameron has made a priority of paying off the 155-billion-pound deficit inherited by his Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government when it took office in May.

However, the head of the RMT railways union, Bob Crow, deplored the sale, saying: "This announcement is just another act of political vandalism on the UK railways.

"The most modern section of the UK rail network has been sold off for a song in what amounts to nothing more than a fire sale of the family silver to prop up the financial deficit caused by the bankers and speculators in the first place."

looking futuristic even today. And the vast, quasi-operatic scenes he offers in A Man and His Music Part II (from 1966) and Francis Albert Sinatra Does His Thing (1968) point to a singer whose broadcast employs every device imaginable — sets, lighting, decor and composition to bring additional drama to the proceedings.

For Sinatra-philes, it’s a relief to have all this footage on DVD, in one package.

The set contains other rarities, as well, most notably Sinatra in Japan: Live at the Budokan Hall, Tokyo (1985), released for the first time in the United States. The mythology that has accrued around this performance proves mostly justified, with Sinatra late in life putting on one of the more pugilistic performances in a career filled with them.

revolutionized the way music plays on the screen (big and small).

A case can be made that Sinatra starred in the first great music video, with his charismatic performance in the film musical Pal Joey (1957). Sinatra looked as good as he sounded singing the score by Rodgers and Hart, his ultra-smooth moves bathed in lush, ultra-vivid nightclub lighting. Solo singers never had been filmed as lovingly as Sinatra in Pal Joey, and the film set a new Hollywood standard for capturing jazz-tinged song on celluloid.

Sinatra’s TV performances from roughly the same era, documented on the new boxed set, show the singer similarly expanding the way music could be presented on a smaller screen. From the somewhat grainy, black-and-white footage of his mid-’50s TV series to the classic A Man and His Music specials of the ’60s to the autumnal Sinatra: The Man and His Music from the ’80s, the boxed set traces the arc of Sinatra’s TV career. It also documents a man restlessly pushing out the boundaries of what could be achieved with music on the tube.

Fully 10 previously unreleased TV performances from 1955-’57 capture Sinatra in peak vocal form, but the singer does not rest on the quality of his pipes alone. In Day In, Day Out, for instance, he performs with spotlights flashing on and off all around him. The contrast between light and half-light give the performance a stunning, expressionistic fervor.

Granted, the sound on some  insanity workout of these tracks is slightly flawed, yet the rough-hewn quality only underscores the pioneering nature of this venture.

By the time Sinatra appears in the now-revered A Man and His Music specials, the vibrant colors and white-hot lighting illustrate how far TV production had come. Yet Sinatra singer still presents himself in unusual, unexpected settings, the abstract lines and multiple levels of Sinatra’s stage sets

• 29/10/2010 - is bringing the show to the theater

Trop entertainment director Lee-Ann Groff-Daudet says the salsa nights, fitting with the hotel’s South Beach makeover, have been a “huge success.” More successful than a dormant theater, no doubt.

Also, a business partnership between the hotel and Ambhar Tequila has led to the renaming of Celebration Lounge as Ambhar Lounge. David Perrico Group (featuring Marley Taylor, late of Zowie Bowie) plays Wednesdays. Perrico is on trumpet and Steven Lee, who can really work those frets, is on guitar. Also in the Ambhar is Dragonfly, featuring Sanchez with accomplished musicians Jeff

More from the Penn & Teller party at the lavish Palazzo Suites at The Rio: Off in the corner, texting and cell phoning in a vain attempt at privacy, was adult film icon Ron Jeremy. He did not make the show, as his flight from L.A. to Las Vegas landed behind schedule. … A few feet away from Jeremy, and crossing corporate lines: Carrot Top (he of MGM Resorts’ Luxor, Penn & Teller of Harrah’s Rio). … A personal favorite bit from the show: Jillette bringing an audience member to the stage to pose with a cardboard cutout of Criss Angel, but not until throwing some “junk jewelry” over the effigy. P&T are friendly with Angel, so this is all in good fun. … Teller’s clipping-of-the-rose segment, where the flower is cut away from its own silhouette, dates to the duo’s earliest appearances as two-thirds of the comedy-magic act Asparagus Valley Cultural Society in the mid-1970s. … Nice touches: Two Styrofoam caskets floated in the Palazzo Suites pool during the after-party, and the cake was designed as a graveyard. … Seen on the scene, Channel 3’s Alicia Jacobs and her new boyfriend, Vince Neil. What this means, above all, is that I am one heartbeat away from  cheap P90x   < double-dating with Vince Neil. … David Brenner, the comic who helped invent observational humor but rarely receives credit for such, had a lengthy talk with Teller at the post-party. The topic? Philadelphia, the hometown of each. … It’s always good to see Frank Lieberman, wonderful man and an invaluable treasure trove of information about Vegas yesterday and today, with his wife, Karen. Frank still wears his Elvis-issued “TCB” necklace, one of Vegas’ great artifacts.

Restorative power
Well, there’s no need to knock the rust off this show.

The series launch of “American Restoration,” which premiered in two half-hour installments at 9 p.m. Monday on The History Channel, drew 3.7 million viewers and 1.8 million adults in the coveted 25-54 and 18-49 demographics.

Impressively, the show was the night’s top-rated program on all cable channels (discounting sporting events) in its time slot. The show centers on tattered-shirted Rick Dale’s Las Vegas business, Rick’s Restorations, which is the first spinoff from the four-headed cable monster that is “Pawn Stars.”

And, contrary to popular belief, Tiffany has not sat dormant -- at least if you’re interested in Latin-themed entertainment. Since Sept. 25, “Salsero Saturdays,” starring Michito Sanchez and his Salsa Orchestra, have been held from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. at the theater. The dance floor has been built at the front of the stage, and salsa lessons are offered as part of the $10 admission (the lessons are from 10 to 11 p.m.).

Trop’s a-Bloom
Announced this week is that Jay Bloom’s Eagle Group Holdings has entered into a tenant agreement with Tropicana to stage shows at Tiffany Theatre. Eagle Group Holding also owns the Las Vegas Mob Experience at the hotel, set to open Dec. 17 (the Las Vegas Sun in involved in a promotional relationship with the Mob Experience, having provided archived photos and video interviews for use by the attraction in exchange for brand placement).

Bloom’s production company, ADD Productions, will be booking shows into the Tiffany over the next six months. I expect these shows to be great fun, too, starting with, “Yesterday: A Tribute to The Beatles,” which is, as the name implies, a tribute to The Beatles. Don Belezzo, a veteran John Lennon tribute artist, is bringing the show to the theater Tuesdays through Sundays at 5:30 p.m. The production played the Tropicana in Atlantic City for three years before embarking on the corner of Trop and L.V. Boulevard.

More announcements are to come, P90X  soon, about these other theatrical productions, and don’t be surprised to see a rotating group of headliners. More interesting, at least to me, is how and if Bloom’s group will factor into the long-discussed renovation of Tiffany Theatre, which is to morph it from a traditional Vegas showroom to a more contemporary, aisled-seat theater similar to the Luxor. That project was initially supposed to start when Wayne Newton finished “Once Before I Go” at the end of April.

• 20/10/2010 - Saks has done pretty well

"We re-emphasized the selling environment," Sadove said.

Saks also put more focus online. Sales there have grown fastest in the company, making up 27 percent of the business in the first half of 2010.

Finally, Saks shifted its distribution of price points from "best, to good and better," he said.

"We did Herculean things," Sadove said.  insanity "And we came through even stronger than when we went into the recession."

Those efforts have been evident to some local shoppers. Micah Paldino, owner of a local public relations firm, now shops weekly at Saks. He gets e-mails about items he typically buys in the store, like Burberry Brit jeans.

"They are really looking at that absolutely key metric of profitability per square foot. Their inventory is made up of expensive stuff that is maybe rotating three times a year when they're lucky," he said.

The closures have begun to pay off for New York-based Saks. In its second quarter this year, the chain made significantly reduced losses from 2009. The chain's share price has risen to about $10.28 a share, with same-store sales growing consecutively each month this year.

Many changes within the company have happened at a local level, Sadove said, as Saks hired more than 40 local marketing managers to build relationships with customers and charities. More of the chain's advertising spending was shifted locally.

It also upgraded point-of-sale systems and technology initiatives to better target customers with direct mail, e-mail and other marketing efforts. Store managers were encouraged to spend more time on the floor and in training efforts with associates. They also give more input to a corporate buying team.

Here are some little known facts about Tiffany Weimer: When Speculation about Saks future downtown has been tied to troubles at the adjacent Tower Place Mall. Saks lease with the city of Cincinnati is contingent on a 70 percent occupancy rate at the mall and on the continued operations of Macy's, Tiffany & Co. and Brooks Brothers. The owners of Fountain Place have worked aggressively in recent months to secure lease renewals with Tiffany and Brooks, both of which have deals that end in 2012. Tiffany recommitted last week to making its store successful downtown, but hasn't yet renewed.

In its decisions to close stores, Sadove said his team considered store profitability, lease terms and future revenue opportunity. Saks lease for the city-owned building extends through 2016. The city offered Saks $6.6 million in 2001 to secure a renewal there. Saks has used that money over time to upgrade the store and its displays.

"In most cases, Saks has P90X  done pretty well in real estate negotiations," said James Dion, a Chicago-based retail analyst with Dionoco, Inc. He expects that the chain looks at the cost of inventory and staffing relative to how fast sales happen.

• 18/10/2010 - Knowing that the helmet could

Kingfisher, 12, was one of the six people whose lives were saved because Mena chose to be an organ donor. One of her kidneys is now part of Kingfisher and he became a part of the Mena family.

“Curtis has been part of our life since Oct. 6,” Isela Mena said. “One of the things I had asked when they started putting this together was, ‘I don’t want it to be about sadness. When we get to the point of impact, I want something to be uplifting.’ He got one of her kidneys. We’ve seen him a couple of times. We e-mail each others. He sang Happy Birthday to my daughter on Aug. 22, when we gathered at her grave site. He is part of our lives. It wasn’t supposed to happen that way, but it has. And we are blessed.”

“Tough is not the word,” Isela Mena said. “It’s been difficult. It’s very hard to lose someone and have to continue to go on. But withcheap P90x  people here in Oklahoma, and Norman, they bring a little bit of comfort and peace. And something like this event they are putting together, it’s amazing. It’s very emotional at this point. It’s been a year for us but, honestly, it just feels like yesterday.”

Adrienna Hauck said it’s been a hard year for her, also. She still struggles with getting past the loss of her best friend.

“It’s life changing,” Hauck said. “Every day is a new day. Some days you get up and you’re OK. Some days you want to stay in bed. But you have to go on, and that’s what she would want us to do. And doing this type of event is turning a tragedy into a positive. She is smiling down right now.”

When the group reached the intersection of Crestland and Almeda, they were met by a special surprise. Curtis Kingfisher waited with a bright neon yellow sign with Mena’s picture and the words “Mariee is my Angel” printed on it.

Mena was a 2004 second team All-Big 12 selection and was named to the NCAA Regional all-tournament team. She was also a member of the Sooners’ 2003 and 2004 Women’s College World Series teams and its 2007 Big 12 Championship team.

Spearheaded by the wishes of Mena’s family and the determination of those she came in contact with, organizers are hoping to make the walk an annual event.

“I had asked them to do it,” said Mena’s mother, Isela. “It was something that we had to do. Back home, we kept thinking about it being her anniversary coming up. One of the things that came to my mind is a walk. It’s for something a lot of people don’t do. They don’t yield to bikers. For her anniversary, I had asked coach Patti Gasso, I asked some of the girls here if they wouldn’t mind putting something together, and this is what’s came about.”

But while much of the focus of the walk was to bring awareness to yielding for motorcycles, Mena’s friends also know another element could have prevented the tragedy.

“Knowing that the helmet could have saved her life,” Flores said. “She would just have had a broken leg if she were wearing a helmet.  P90X That’s the toughest part. She usually wears them all the time. She just didn’t this time and it just happened to be the time the Lord needed her.”

Isela Mena traveled from Escondido, Calif., to be part of the walk and interact with Mena’s other family. It’s one of the few things she has looked forward to since her daughter’s death.

On Sunday, area residents said they heard as many as five shots ring out before they heard sirens and saw police and paramedics arrive.

• 11/10/2010 - Thomas Murphy said the reader should continue

• The difference between debt consolidation and debt settlement.

"Debt consolidation is when you take your existing debts from multiple credit cards, lines of credit, or other liabilities and consolidate them into a single payment," said Jean Keener, principal at Keener Financial Planning in Keller. "The purpose of a debt consolidation loan is to obtain a lower interest rate, which would allow you to pay off the debt faster. You are still paying 100 percent of the debt."

Debt settlement is when a company negotiates on your behalf with creditors to accept less than full payment of your debts.

"It's important to note that in some situations, the amount of the debt that's reduced is considered taxable income," Keener said.

Contributions to a Roth p90x workout p90x workout aren't tax-deductible, but earnings can be withdrawn tax-free if you're at least 59 ½ years old and have had the Roth for at least five years.

• There's no mandatory distribution age as there is with a traditional IRA, which means if you don't need the money, you can leave it in the Roth to continue growing.

In a traditional IRA, contributions are tax-deductible if you qualify, and taxes are paid when earnings are withdrawn.

Withdrawals can begin at age 59 ½ and are mandatory by age 70 ½ because Uncle Sam wants the income taxes due him.

Despite the benefits, the decision to convert your IRA shouldn't be automatic.

That's because when you move from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA, you pay income tax on the amount converted.

Frannie Gardner, a certified financial planner at Ayres Financial Group in Dallas, asked a reader interested in converting whether she had the money to pay the tax without having to use the IRA money.

The reader said she did.

If you dip into the IRA, that money wouldn't be growing for you.

Plus, if you're under 59 ½ and tap your IRA, you'd also be hit with a 10 percent early withdrawal penalty.

There's another reason to consider whether you can afford to convert:

"You have to calculate what you're giving up by those tax dollars," Gardner told the caller.

In other words, determine whether it would be worth it to not have those dollars growing for you because you tapped them to pay the Roth conversion tax.

You should also consider how close you are to retirement.

"Generally, Roths are better if you're 40 or under, and traditional IRAs are better if you're 50 and older," said Patrick Dougherty, certified financial planner at Dougherty Wealth Management in Plano. "If you're in the 40 to 50 range, it depends on how high your income is and how much you can save each year."

If you're younger, you have the time to allow the money in the converted Roth to grow for you and recoup the conversion tax you paid.

If you're older, you presumably would be in a higher tax bracket and would benefit more from the deduction the traditional IRA offers if you qualify, Dougherty said.

Other questions included:

• Whether to continue to contribute to a 401(k), even though the employer's matching contribution has been eliminated.

"I contribute about $200 per month to the 401(k) and another $100 to my IRA," a reader wrote online. "I'm considering canceling my 401(k) contribution and consolidating my retirement to my IRA. Is this a good idea?"

Thomas Murphy said the insanity workout  reader should continue contributing to the 401(k).

"First, money withdrawn automatically from your paycheck increases the probability of the money actually being invested," said Murphy, certified financial planner at TEMAA Financial in Dallas. "In other words, you won't be tempted to spend it.

"Second, should your employer restart the match you want to be in a position to receive the money."

“We’ve always done bridal markets, and this year we decided to branch out a little more, and I think a business expo is not the type where you find a caterer so we thought we’d branch out a little more,” said Pendleton, who also said she talked to more than 100 people and made good connections.

Mike Kopp of Develop New Albany also enjoyed his third year at the event.

“I’m enjoying talking to people, cheap P90xcheap P90x and the next thing you know people are going downtown [New Albany] to check things out,” Kopp said.

To keep the networking going, One Southern Indiana is offering a class in opportunity management next Friday at Clark Memorial Hospital. It’s free for One Southern Indiana members and $25 for the public.

Spirits seem to be up this year. Haven’t heard much about the down economy here. You do hear so much about that, but not today,” said Peggy Whitaker, events and program coordinator for One Southern Indiana. “The purpose of One Southern Indiana is to make connections, and to help grow our economy. We actually help build relationships for people. They connect and engage with people they wouldn’t normally meet.”

On Thursday, 109 businesses tabled the event, and more than 1,000 people were expected to walk through Kye’s I and Kye’s II during the annual business expo. In order to attract more people this year, Whitaker explained that One Southern Indiana kicked things up with some changes. For example, this was the first year for the silent auction that included media packages, lunch was offered and throughout the day, different themes were presented such as happy hour networking.  To add to the event, businesses gave away tickets to everyone who visited their table, and the tickets were then included in a drawing for a $250 gift certificate to the Green Tree Mall or a Pandora Bracelet from Koerbers.

Dawn Bennett, vice president for business services with One Southern Indiana, said the additions and changes were in response to low numbers to similar expos across the country. But the numbers for Business Boost were up 18 percent.

“You have to change things up to make it interesting because doing the same thing becomes boring. When they come through, they see it in a totally different layout, and with the way we market it, and changed everything and it worked,” Whitaker said.

John Lawson, chair person for Business Boost, admitted there was some uncertainty when the event was in pre-planning stages, “but actually we have a bit of a different mix of participants and the majority from last year are back. The participants are upbeat about it.”

Tom Fields, vice president, Blue Sky, Inc., located in Louisville, experienced results from attending Business Boost immediately, and said he has about a dozen leads. However, he admitted that at first, he was nervous about investing money to attend.

“Especially as a small business. We got the [One Southern Indiana] membership last week. It’s a hefty investment. Not only are you spending money for the booth, but you got everything that goes on with it. But there’s no other place where you could come and spend this amount of money you spend here, and get the type of response and face to face contact with decision makers like you can through a chamber event,” Fields said. Blue Sky, Inc. also provided the recycling services for the event.

One Southern Indiana focuses on business efforts of Southern Indiana and the Louisville Metro area, but there were people attending Business Boost from across the country.

“I’ve talked to people from >P90X  as far away as New Jersey, Texas and New York,” said Daniel Flow, who was helping at the Great Harvest Bread table, which is owned by his wife and mother-in-law.

The majority of businesses were business-to-business companies, but Michelle Pendleton, president, Chardeau’s Classic Catering, saw great opportunities.

• 14/9/2010 - He further rejected

Article 2.4.2 of ICC code of conduct stipulates that a player is responsible to provide full details about any misappropriation in case anyone attempts to seduce or approach him for any act contrary to the Anti-corruption code. Hence, Yasir Hameed has committed an offence by not divulging the known truth in time according to ICC code of conduct.

The startling revelations by Yasir Hameed deserve close scrutiny by the ICC and PCB. Similarly Scotland Yard must also enhance its scope of investigation as per the revelations made by Yasir Hameed.

PCB, on the other hand is maintaining its mysterious silence and the Pakistani High Commissioner has assumed the role of spokesperson for the Pakistani team. Chairman PCB is even absent from the scene since the controversy erupted. Yawer Saeed, Pakistan’s manager said that he
rther degradation.

Whereas the situation demands players to be extra careful and vigilant in their act and talks, the appearance of video conversation defies situational awareness by Pakistani players. The video clearly depicts Yasir Hameed slamming his teammates and creating further doubts.

In the interview, Hameed attributed several past defeats with the attitude of players. He said that players intentionally played dismally due to their links with bookmakers. He expressed his disappointment and anger about the lack of sportsmanship in his teammates. Hameed said that he tried to play his best and win matches but his teammates did not support him due to the charm of money.

The appearance of another controversial video at this critical juncture has exacerbated the situation for Pakistani cricket. However, Hameed rejected any statement attributed to him by the News of The World on local media. Hameed has been called by the Management for explaining his alleged interview with the (NOTW) correspondent. Pakistani High Commissioner, Wajid Shamshul-Hassan, has arranged an emergency meeting with the PCB and Yasir Hameed, who would be asked to explain his point of view in the meeting.

Although, Yasir Hameed has termed the video recording as fabricated, he is required to explain various facts. While he was aware of all the issues in the team, never did he bother to inform management about the corrupt practices observed by his teammates. ICC has yet not given any official statement on the appearance of the video conversation. cheap P90x  However, reliable sources within ICC termed the allegations as attributable to breach of Anti-corruption code. According to the source, Yasir Hameed failed to observe the responsibility entrusted on him as per ICC code of conduct. According to the Anti corruption code of conduct, it is the responsibility of every player to identify and highlight any corrupt practices within the cricket sports.
Hameed has denied the statements in the interview and accused News of The World for fraudulently recording the video of an informal conversation. He further rejected allegations about refusing a bookmaker’s offer to fix a match for 150,000 pounds.

Pandora’s box is now open and what consequences it would bring on Pakistan’s cricket in particular and the sport itself is yet to be determined. Whether Yasir Hameed has been manipulated by the British tabloid or he intentionally fuelled the controversy is not known. Responsible behaviour is need of the hour to protect the deteriorating image of Pakistani cricket from fu
